Dubai Knowledge Park (DKP) is TECOM Group's community for human resources, training, consultancy and personal-development businesses — recruitment firms, corporate training providers, coaching and HR consultancies. As a TECOM free zone, fit-out approvals here run through the Dubai Development Authority (DDA), the same authority that governs Dubai Internet City, Dubai Media City and Dubai Science Park.

Our TECOM zone experience

We haven't yet delivered a completed project specifically inside Dubai Knowledge Park, though we've completed several fit-outs across neighbouring TECOM communities — Dubai Internet City, Dubai Media City, Dubai Outsource City and Dubai Science Park — all governed by the identical DDA approval process. Our in-house design, MEP and approvals teams are equipped to take on a DKP project; if you're setting up here, talk to us about your specific requirements and we'll tell you honestly whether we're the right fit.

Who sets up offices in DKP

DKP's tenant base is professional-services businesses — HR consultancies, recruitment agencies, corporate training providers and coaching firms. Fit-out briefs here typically call for a mix of standard cellular/meeting-room office space and dedicated training or presentation rooms, rather than open industrial floor plates.

Approval process — DDA

Every fit-out in Dubai Knowledge Park needs a DDA Fit-Out Permit before work starts, plus a landlord/TECOM NOC, submitted through DDA's Zoning e-Services portal. The permit is valid for 6 months, and Dubai Civil Defence sign-off is required before DDA issues the Fit-Out Completion Certificate.

Cost expectations

As a general Dubai benchmark, a Category B office fit-out runs AED 800–1,800 per Sqm depending on finishes and how much of the space needs training-room or meeting-room fit-out versus open desking. See our office fit-out cost guide, or send us your unit size for a specific estimate.
